End User License Agreement
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) governs the license granted to Customers for Simetrix Consult software products, including Modern Timeline.

1. License Grant
Subject to payment of applicable fees and continued compliance with this EULA and the related documents, Simetrix Consult grants the Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the product solely within the licensed Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Apps environment.
2. Product Covered
This EULA applies to Modern Timeline and any other Simetrix Consult product that references this EULA. Modern Timeline is provided as a PCF control and managed solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Apps.
3. Environment-Limited Use
Each activation key is valid only for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Apps environment for which it was generated. The Customer may not use the same activation key in another environment, including another production, sandbox, test, development, backup, or disaster recovery environment, unless separately licensed or approved in writing by Simetrix Consult.
4. User-Limited Use
The Customer’s right to use the product is limited to the licensed active Dynamics 365 user count. If the Customer exceeds the licensed user count, the subscription may be deactivated during a subsequent validation check, and access may be disabled until the Customer purchases the required user capacity or otherwise resolves the issue with Simetrix Consult.
5. Activation Key
The activation key is generated based on the Customer’s organization URL, organization ID, active Dynamics 365 licensed user count, and subscription term. The activation key remains the property of Simetrix Consult and must be kept confidential by the Customer.
6. License Validation
The product periodically validates the activation key against Simetrix Consult’s licensing server hosted in Azure. The product requires internet access for validation. A validation cache may be stored locally for up to twelve (12) hours. After the cache expires, a new validation is performed when the user attempts to use the product.
7. Restrictions
The Customer must not, directly or indirectly:
- copy, clone, replicate, resell, redistribute, lend, rent, lease, sublicense, publish, or transfer the product;
- share or disclose activation keys except to authorized administrators who require access for configuration;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, inspect, modify, or attempt to derive the source code, architecture, licensing logic, or underlying mechanisms of the product;
- alter, remove, bypass, disable, or interfere with the activation process, validation process, telemetry, licensing server communication, or security controls;
- modify the managed solution, source code, product functionality, or product components;
- use the product in a way that violates applicable law, Microsoft terms, third-party rights, or these terms.
8. Ownership
The product is licensed, not sold. Simetrix Consult retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the product, including all intellectual property rights, source code, object code, design, functionality, documentation, licensing logic, and related materials.
9. Customer Data
The product is designed so that Customer business data remains within the Customer’s Microsoft tenant. Simetrix Consult does not receive Customer business records, activities, accounts, contacts, opportunities, notes, files, or other Dataverse business content through the product’s licensing validation process.
10. License Metadata and Telemetry
The product may transmit activation metadata, license metadata, technical telemetry, environment URL, organization ID, expiration date, validation status, and diagnostic information to Simetrix Consult for licensing, support, analytics, security, and product improvement. 11. Updates
During an active subscription, the Customer may receive updates, enhancements, and bug fixes. Updates must be installed by the Customer and are not automatically deployed by Simetrix Consult. The Customer is responsible for testing updates in a suitable environment before production deployment.
12. Third-Party and Microsoft Services
The product depends on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Platform, and other Microsoft services. Simetrix Consult does not control and is not responsible for changes, downtime, licensing restrictions, API changes, platform limitations, or security policies imposed by Microsoft or third-party providers.
13. Termination
This license may terminate automatically or be suspended if the subscription expires, payment is overdue, license validation fails, the licensed user count is exceeded, or the Customer breaches this EULA or any related document.
Upon termination, the Customer must stop using the product and remove or disable the product where technically reasonable. Termination does not limit Simetrix Consult’s right to pursue remedies for prior breaches.
14. Unauthorized Use
Unauthorized copying, modification, redistribution, activation bypassing, license tampering, or attempted replication of the product is strictly prohibited. Where appropriate and permitted by law, Simetrix Consult may suspend access, revoke activation keys, refuse future licensing, report serious misuse to Microsoft, and pursue legal remedies.
15. No Source Code Rights
No source code, development rights, redistribution rights, or ownership rights are transferred to the Customer. The Customer may not request, access, modify, or use the source code unless a separate written agreement signed by Simetrix Consult expressly grants such rights.
16. Disclaimer
The product is provided “as is” and “as available”. Simetrix Consult provides support and maintenance in accordance with the Support Policy, but does not warrant that the product will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every Customer configuration or customization.
17. Limitation of Liability
Simetrix Consult’s liability is limited as described in the Product Terms and Conditions. In no event shall liability exceed the amount paid by the Customer under the then-current invoice for the affected subscription period.
18. Governing Law
This EULA is governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Any disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of Bulgaria, unless mandatory applicable law requires otherwise.
