Dynamics 365 Plugins

Business rules that run every time, everywhere

We design, build and test Dynamics 365 plugins that enforce your logic inside Dataverse, whether a record changes on a form, in an import, through an integration or via the API. Fast, secure and easy to maintain.

When you need a plugin

Rules that can’t be bypassed

Credit limits, mandatory approvals and data validation enforced on every save.

Correct at the moment of save

Calculations, auto-numbering and rollups that are right immediately, not seconds later.

All-or-nothing updates

Changes across related records that roll back together if anything fails.

Replacing fragile flows

Move slow flows and legacy workflows to reliable server-side code.

What we deliver

Everything from the first design to production support, built the way Microsoft recommends for Dataverse.

Plugin design first

Before any code, we document the right message, stage and execution mode for each rule, and confirm a plugin is the simplest option.

  • Message, stage and mode per rule
  • Filtered attributes to keep forms fast
  • Least-privilege execution context

Clean C# code

Structured, readable plugins and custom APIs your team can maintain.

Automated tests

Unit tests for the business logic, plus testing in your sandbox.

Managed deployment

Released in managed solutions with handover documentation.

Review and repair

Fix existing plugins that are slow, failing or hard to maintain.

Frequently asked questions

Should I use a plugin or Power Automate?

Use a plugin when the logic must run immediately, inside the save, or must never be bypassed. Use Power Automate for background processes, notifications and integrations that can run a few seconds later. We recommend the simplest option that meets the requirement.

Do plugins slow down Dynamics 365?

Badly written ones can. Well-designed plugins that filter on the right fields and avoid unnecessary queries add very little time to a save. Performance is part of every design we produce.

Can you fix plugins another partner built?

Yes. We review the code, explain what causes errors or slowness, and repair or rebuild it, whichever is cheaper for you over time.

Who owns the code?

Custom plugins built for your project are delivered with source code and documentation, so your team or any partner can maintain them.

How long does a plugin project take?

A single, well-defined plugin often takes days rather than weeks. Larger sets of logic are planned in short phases so you see working results early.
