Is PCF better than JavaScript web resources?
For user-interface changes, yes. PCF is Microsoft’s supported way to extend the UI. Controls are packaged, configurable and far less likely to break in platform updates than scripts that manipulate the page.
Do PCF controls work in canvas apps too?
Most can. We design each control for where you need it: model-driven forms, views, canvas apps or all three.
Can you customise one of your existing products for us?
Yes. Tell us what you need and we’ll advise whether adapting an existing Simetrix control or building new is the better option.
Do we need premium licences?
Controls that only work with Dataverse data in model-driven apps generally run on your existing licences. Controls that call external services may need premium licences. We check this with you during design.
